Aimbridge Energy Group, LLC is Hiring an Office Manager/Accountant Near Mountlake Terrace, WA

Aimbridge Energy Group is looking for an Office Manager with a strong Accounting background.to join the team.

The Office Manager will assist with the management of the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department and be responsible for assistance with the Human Resources functions as it relates to all Aimbridge Energy Group (AEG) employees.

This position supports a very dynamic and changing growth-oriented business. As the business needs change, the Office Manager will need to have the flexibility to change with it and at times focus on different jobs and projects. The volume of transactions in the business units can have a direct impact on the workload for this position. The Office Manager must be able to deal with volume fluctuations and handle interruptions in order to manage deadlines and ensure that the duties of the Accounting Department are completed accurately.

Requirements

  • BS or BA, emphasis in Accounting or Finance desirable
  • 3-5 years of work experience in accounting within a growing business environment
  • Understanding of the accounting process including, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory management, and the preparation of financial statements
  • Experience using MRP software Fishbowl is a plus
  • Must have Extensive QuickBooks Experience including initial Set up
  • Advanced PC skills including strong Microsoft Excel software skills
  • Strong organizational, time management skills and communication skills
  • Knowledge of WA state and Federal labor law compliance requirements and posting requirements
  • Maintenance of confidentiality of HR, Payroll and related company records
  • Prior experience working for a manufacturing, general contracting or electrical technology business
  • Ability to coordinate employee functions, team meetings, visiting management or customer events

Responsibilities

Day-to-day operation of the accounting department

Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, General Ledger Account Reconciliation, Monthly Close, Repetitive and Accrual Journal Entries, Inventory and Bill of Materials (BoM) Management, Assistance with the Preparation of Financial Statements, and Human Resource functions.

Benefits and Insurance Administration

Manage the benefits enrollment process and administration. Ensure all insurance provider relationships are intact and managed on a regular basis. Work with the COO to determine best benefits and/or insurance provider relationships for the company. A regular review of these provider relationships should be done a consistent, ongoing basis.

Payroll

Ensuring accurate and timely submission of payroll. Participation with recruiting process specifically onboarding and set-up of new employees for payroll, benefits, orientation, and asset assignment. The incumbent should also continually evaluate the payroll system in use and identify/recommend better solutions if warranted.

Accounts Payable and Purchase Orders

Manages the payment of all vendor invoices and ensures timely and accurate submission of outstanding amounts owed. Prepares and manages purchase orders for materials needed and works with the Engineering Department to ensure timely and effective management of supplier relationships.

Accounts Receivable

Manages the collection of outstanding customer receivables and ensures regular communication to management in the event of collections issues. Understands the cash-flow impact of timely receivables collection and reporting.

Month End

Responsible for assisting with all month end procedures for specific business units and reconciling bank statements. The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all bookkeeping is in order for specific business units to meet financial reporting deadlines and accuracy.

Performance review processing, recordkeeping and auditing.

Track timely accomplishment of various manager and supervisor department subordinate performance reviews, corrective action directives, annual reviews and employee evaluations of supervisors and operational feedback.

Salary: $68,000/year
